Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Global Manufacturing Science & Technology department located at our St. Joseph, MO facility. As an In tern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry while contributing to critical projects that drive process improvements and innovation.

Duties & Responsibilities
Experiment Design and Execution: Conduct experiments and analyze data to optimize process performance.
Process Modeling and Scale-Up: Develop models and conduct scale-up studies.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports and presentations.
Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting, research, and investigation support to ongoing MSAT Projects.
Data Management: Collect, organize, and evaluate data from assigned activities.
Communication: Effectively communicate activity efforts and outcomes to the MSAT team.
Knowledge Sharing: Support the exchange of technical knowledge across global and local MSAT teams
Requirements
Requirements:
Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).
Major must be related to the field of internship.
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Academic Background: foundation in chemical engineering or a related field .
Technical Project Experience: ability to work on technical projects, such as process design, optimization, or scale-up.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of unit operations and process equipment.
Technical Aptitude: A strong aptitude for understanding and applying technical concepts.
Attention to Detail: attention to detail in data analysis and process execution.
Curiosity and Innovation: A drive to explore new ideas and find innovative solutions.
Global Mindset: A willingness to learn about different cultures and work practices.
