Global End to End Service Owner - Digital Factory

As a Global End to End Service Owner for, you will be accountable for establishing, operationalizing, and evolving the digital factory. The digital factory is a global large-scale service operation that delivers digital content such as emails, edetailers, banners, social media posts (all digital content channels except for web). The digital factory is utilized almost exclusively by all Boehringer Ingelheim affiliates and is powered by a third-party offshore delivery vendor partner.

Key accountabilities for the role include service innovation, vendor management, and training and process development. The objective of the role is to deliver a global value-added service that meets the evolving internal and external customer/HCP/patient needs

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Ramp up and scale digital capabilities into a globally harmonized service.

  • Deliver digital services at global scale by:

  • Managing a third-party production vendor partner to execute the service.

  • Developing processes and standards to enable service delivery.

  • Create service documentation and training.

  • Measure and monitor the service operations, quality and cost and take proactive actions to continuously improve the service and the tools.

  • Work in partnership with the Global Capability Owners (GCOs) to align the direction of the capability and service.

  • Alongside of GCOs, piloting new technologies, new ways of working and disruptive changes

  • Guide IT counterparts to provide platforms and systems that are meeting business needs

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in an area relevant to the service e.g. Digital Marketing, Life Sciences, or others.

  • Minimum of five years of proven success in service delivery management, preferably in a Big Pharma, internal shared services setup.

  • Proven background in continuous improvement activities and business process reengineering (Lean Six Sigma training/ certification is a plus).

  • Solid management and organizational leadership skills.

  • English - fluent in written, reading, speaking.

  • Able to apply sound judgment while working independently within tight timelines.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, with great interpersonal skills; able to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team.

  • Proven success as a key member of a matrixed, cross-functional team; able to work equally well with people in business, creative, science and technical positions.

  • Able to partner with colleagues around the world and understand the local market nuances to be able to provide standardized but flexible services.

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and mediation skills.

  • Strong results orientation. Ability to plan and organize work. Observation, interviewing and listening skills.
