Ensuring strategic epidemiological management within two or more therapeutic areas, including innovative methods and pathways.
Proactive Real World Data generation for comparative effectiveness research, safety profiling, benefit assessment, and defense strategy, including subgroup profiling.
Provides epidemiological advice properly to various in- and external stakeholders, lead and further develop TMEpis, set directions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure development of strategies for planning, initiating, and supervising of epidemiological studies.
Communicate and monitor globally the RWD strategy throughout the company, contribution and oversight to/of the Real World Data Expert Group.
Ensure high quality of critical review assessments, expert statements, publications.
Oversees high quality and efficient development and reviews of Epidemiological Product Management Plan (EPMaP).
Ensures timely and appropriate development of epidemiological sections of Risk Management Plan (RMP).
Initiates and supervises development of new processes and SOPs relevant for the implementation of Epidemiology at BI.
Doctoral degree and/or Masters’ degree with five (5) years of pharmacoepidemiological experience.
One (1) to three (3) years’ experience leading employees and projects is required.
International exposure in daily business is required.
Trained epidemiologist, profound mathematical/statistical skills, strong analytical skills and medical/pharmacological knowledge,
Experience with claims/Electronical Medical Record databases
Strong communication skills, creativity, flexibility and proven leadership capabilities.
Aptitude to work under pressure, strong performance orientation, international mobility, ability to work in matrix structures
Highly proactive to address real world data needs and defining processes.
Ensure fulfillment of regulatory requirements for GEpi-studies, e.g. registration, ethical board approval.
Proactive leadership role, high responsibility and accountability.
Experience working with/interfacing with Regulatory Agencies
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Industry experience, pharmacoepidemiological experience, pharmacovigilance knowledge, biostatistics,
Knowledge on various healthcare systems.
Experience in Oncology and or Immunology
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
