Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Ethics and Compliance department located atour AOB facility. As an Intern, you will work with experienced compliance andlegal professionals at Boehringer-Ingelheim. As well as have the opportunity towork with BI’s professionals as they balance business opportunities withassociated risks from both a legal and compliance perspective.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The primary focus of the summer internship will be to assist on a project jointly overseen by experienced compliance and legal professionals and related to the company’s health care compliance program. The intern is also expected to gain cross functional exposure through collaboration with various departments at BI. They will have the opportunity to meet and interact with seasoned professionals with varying backgrounds and expertise as well as gain exposure to Boehringer Ingelheim’ s products, businesses, and culture

Requirements:

  • Must be anUndergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.

  • Must have completed12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.

  • Overall, cumulativeGPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) orbetter (No rounding up).

  • Major must berelated to the field of internship.

Desired Experience,Skills and Abilities:

  • High degree of proficiency with spreadsheets,databases and project management systems

  • Must possess strong verbal, written, presentation and othercommunication skills

  • Must demonstrateability to collaborate and partner across the department and organization.

EligibilityRequirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stateswithout restriction.

  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical(if required)

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
