Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Infrastructure, Safety; Environment & Engineering (ISEE) department located at our Ridgefield facility. As an Intern, you will support key strategic and continuous improvement topics as well as change and organizational development activities in ISEE Ridgefield .

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing key projects to support ISEE strategy and business strategy implementation.

  • Assist in identifying opportunities for potential process improvements within ISEE.

  • Assist in managing the financial portfolio reporting for Capital Expense projects in ISEE Ridgefield.

  • Support ISEE functions with Compliance, Quality and Validation related tasks, systems and projects. This can include data entry and analysis as well as implementing projects and fostering the culture.

  • Support the development and implementation of ISEE training plans.

Requirements:

  • Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.

  • Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.

  • Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).

  • Major must be related to the field of internship.

Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology.

  • Intermediate competency with MS Office Suite.

  • Ability to work effectively as a sole contributor and on teams with minimal supervision.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
