Boehringer Ingelheim S&OP Specialist and DS Coordinator - Mumbai in Mumbai, India
The Position
This position will report to the Head of SCM and will closely work , coordinate and liaise with the IMETA Regional planners & SC team and their on with the India BU heads, marketing heads, National Distribution Manager for allied SCM activities, Controlling, RA, Quality, Procurement, etc. This role also closely works with all the regional SCM colleagues and POC and is responsible for management reporting.
Tasks & Responsibilities
To ensure market supply by supporting demand reviews, translating forecast to net requirement and liaising with the Region ( IMETA ) for ensuring supplies and dispatching the goods as per the requirements. Minimise the number of dispatches to ensure efficiency in execution, co-ordination with S&M and L&D for optimisation of stock movement.
Defining & working with the local stakeholders & the regional stakeholders around strategic inventory levels/safety stock and customer service levels. Achieve the OTIF/ LIFR through efficient distribution planning process.
Work with the stake holders and reduce shelf expiries and intra location movements. Maintains the optimum inventory levels based on forecast and expected launch plans, in full alignment with the regional SC team.
Support the regional planners in portfolio management within the life cycle: launch and change activities and portfolio optimization.
To ensure execution of projects assigned by Global and/or Local management. (Planning or otherwise)
Support end to end management of Co-marketing, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka supplies basis PO in alignment with the stakeholders such as commercial, regional planning organization etc.,
MDM and SLCLI activities
SPOC for India for product MDM and SLCI activities. Primary transportation
Responsible for primary transportation, cost, and vendor management with periodic supplier review calls.
Engage with stakeholders in ensuring right distribution planning & support the India SC team in long term projects.
Drive & Lead delivery of planning KPIs in alignment with the regional planners.
Lead the S&OP for all business portfolios such as Animal health, Human pharma, Co-marketing, Regional alignment calls, BNS business deliveries, Outlook vs budget numbers alignment for all business portfolios.
Requirements
Education: master’s degree (e.g. MBA, MSc) Major, focus Business Administration and/or Bachelor’s degree
MS Office Tools,Local knowledge of supply chain regulations will be an added advantage,ERP knowledge, profound communications skills,working within a matrix organization, team player.
Experience in AH and HP planning coordination
Experience in market supply by periodically conducting demand & supply Reviews
Experience in Working with the stake holders and reduce shelf expiries and intra location movements.

Ensure portfolio management within the life cycle launch and change activities and portfolio optimization.

Position will be based at Mumbai.
