Boehringer Ingelheim Internship Medical Omnichannel Operations Unit in Milan, Italy

THE INTERNSHIP

A new, interesting opportunity in Boehringer Ingelheim Italy! We are looking for an intern to join our Medical Affairs Team, specifically the Medical Omnichannel Operations Unit in Milan, Italy.

The purpose of this internship is to create “learning through play” opportunities, supporting to the activities of the medical and cross-functional teams, across both Chronic and Specialty care Therapeutic Areas, to reach excellence in designing Omnichannel Customer journeys.

Support omni-channel campaigns planning & executing, to deliver the best customer experience throughout all the company touchpoints with customers, is the core intent of this internship with a focus on Digital medical channels.

Talking about internal interfaces, you will collaborate with Medical Teams, both office and field based (MSL), and, led by these interactions, also with cross-functional teams Marketing and Sales.

With this experience you can really make the difference, supporting the company in the co-creation of the Integrated Customer Plan (ICP), which collects all the tactics to be implemented towards BI customers throughout the year, to be effectively delivered and support the learning and insights collection process.

We offer 6+6 months curricular internship

Tasks & what you will be learning:

  • Support the Integrated Customer Plan (ICP) process throughout all the process lifecycle, ensuring that ICP process governance is fulfilled. Ensure a consistent engagement and constant interaction with Therapeutic Areas throughout all the ICP lifecycle;

  • Support Medical Affairs teams, in collaboration with omnichannel customer experience team, in designing cross-functional and omni-channel customer journeys in accordance with the company strategy, business needs, an excellent customer experience and adopting Omnichannel journey best practices with special focus on Digital channels;

  • Support the Medical Affairs Team in the design and management of the digital editorial plan, in alignment with Marketing Teams, leveraging data & insights to continuously enhance BI customer engagement model. Promote the localization of digital assets and the utilization of new materials provided by corporate aligned by the content plan and through a right content asset tagging;

  • Support the execution of Omnichannel digital campaigns, leveraging email automation and the most appropriate channel mix, ensuring the right key medical messages and contents are addressed to the right segments. Provide suggestions for A/B tests strategy and corresponding results monitoring;

  • Support the Medical Affairs Team in the implementation of the External expert engagement plan, monitoring data quality among multiple platforms;

  • Assist Medical Advisors in the finalization of documents/visual presentations (Italian and English) by the appropriate use of office automation systems;

  • Back-up activities to Medical Information Specialist concerning the requests involving the Medical Advisors and managing responses (received from Advisor).

Requirements:

  • Master degree in Life Science / Management Engineering, Economics or STEM degree;

  • Italian language native level, Intermediate level of English language;

  • Good knowledge of MS Office, passion for Digital and Data Analytics would be considered a plus;

  • Attitude of active experimentation to find solutions for challenges and change;

  • Problem solving, communication, planning skills, teamwork;

  • Knowledge of Customer Experience basic concepts and pharmaceutical industry would be considered a plus;
