Boehringer Ingelheim Specialist IT Controlling - part time 50% in Ingelheim, Germany

The Position

Tasks & responsibilities

  • As Specialist Controlling, you will support the finance and controlling colleagues in the context of monthly closing activities as well as the coordination of planning cycles.

  • Your responsibility will be the independent and appropriate presentation and analysis of the monthly reporting, in accordance with the given guidelines.

  • All financial reporting and planning activities (Actual / Budget / Outlook +1 / Long Term Forecast) will be supported by you, ensuring consistent data for the preparation of management presentations.

  • With your skill and accuracy, you will ensure data quality and enable decisions through data.

  • Compliance and adherence to the Finance Standard Operating Procedures/Guidelines is also a key part of your role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with few years of professional experience

  • Fundamental understanding of finance and controlling

  • Basic knowledge about internal budget and control processes

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of IT as a business and pharma or IT industry knowledge

  • Communication skills, integrity, perseverance and openness

  • Passion for accuracy and analytics

  • Professional English is required in writing and speaking, speaking German is an additional advantage
