Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Quality Validation department located at our Fremont facility. As an Intern, you will be involved in process and cleaning validations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works closely withPrincipal Specialists and Senior Specialists in support of new productintroduction process and cleaning validation activities

  • Coordinates andcompletes validation tasks

  • Prepares andreviews validation documentation

  • Analyzes validation data

  • Participates inrisk assessment in support of validation activities

  • Familiarizes andmaintains knowledge of current industry practices and relevant pharmaceuticalregulations

  • Effectivelycommunicates (written and oral informal and informal settings)


  • Must be anUndergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.

  • Must have completed12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.

  • Overall, cumulativeGPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) orbetter (No rounding up).

  • Major must be relatedto the field of internship (Science or Engineering)

Desired Experience,Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to followwritten and verbal instructions

  • Pays attention todetail

  • Must be computerliterate and able to effectively use the MS Office suite of products(especially Outlook, Word, and Excel). Experience with Minitab is a plus

  • Understanding orfamiliarity with bio-manufacturing process such as cell culture operations,purification unit operations is a plus

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be legallyauthorized to work in the United States without restriction.

  • Must be willing tosubmit to a background investigation, including verification of your pastemployment, criminal history, and educational background

  • Must be willing totake a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)

  • Must be 18 years ofage or older
