Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Equine Marketing department located at our Duluth, Georgia facility. As an Intern, you will gain real world experience working alongside Equine Marketing professionals working with industry leading brands. The intern will gain experience in marketing strategy and tactical execution, advertising agency relations, database marketing, event marketing, print and digital advertising, collateral development and promotional program development. The BI Cattle Marketing Team will have the benefit of a skilled assistant to provide additional efforts and input on marketing projects. This internship can be the basis of a long-term relationship with a potential future colleague or customer.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Assisting, organizing,and executing BI sponsored industry events
Assist withmarketing promotions including cross-species opportunities
Develop content formultiple platforms including social media and e-commerce
Assist in thedevelopment and execution of brand tactics
Work closely withaligned advertising agency
Must be anUndergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
Must have completed12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
Overall, cumulativeGPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.00 (on 4.0 scale) orbetter (No rounding up).
Major must berelated to the field of internship.
Desired Experience,Skills and Abilities:
Ability toprioritize and complete tasks in a changingenvironment
Ability to workindependently and as part of a team
Proficient in MicrosoftWord, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
Strong verbal andwritten communication skills required
Must have excellentinterpersonal skills and follow- up skills
Marketing background or education preferred
Knowledge of theEquine industry preferred
Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stateswithout restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical(if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
